    Rt On/off

Did some dry-firing with my ULE, worked great. I de-gassed, and went to remove my x-valve, and it wouldnt come out of the body, as if something was holding it it. Rather than force it, I disassembled the frame. I found that the pin in the on/off assembly was sticking out so far that it was preventing me from sliding the x-valve out like normal. Has anyone every had this happen before, and if so, is there a solution? This can't be normal.

    It's normal.

Degas the gun and pull the trigger once. It'll push the on/off into the valve.

        If that didnt work...

I figured you tried that since you have 2 mags. If pulling trigger didnt work, it is because the sear rod is not comming out far enough to let the trigger push the on/off pin all the way in. I think that is why the X-valve comes with an extra sear.

2 ways of fixing... 1 is to put a small object between the trigger and the rod and pull the trigger (obviously only need to do when you want to remove valve, I use my allen wrench). The 2nd is to screw out you sear rod just enough to make it long enough to push pin in. It will be a full turn or two, and it may take a couple of times trying because you dont want it too far out.

Do NOT adjust the trigger rod. It will alter the relationship between the trigger and on/off pin. It may make it easy to get the pin out, but it can make a working gun a non-working gun REAL quick.

thanks again guys, It's good to go now, I wasn't pulling the trigger after de-gassing. In the hundreds of times I have taken my 'Mags apart, I guess I just forgot, and when the x-valve wouldn't slide out, it threw me for a loop!
