ive identified my problem. the problem is the tightness of the screw that holds the board down. i keep adjusting it and when the screen turns it pull the trigger a few times it wont turn back on until i readjust the screw. and ideas?

Is your battery touching the terminals. I know this sounds like a stupid thing, you might want to make sure it is. When i bought mine i had the same problem and found out it wasnt touching so i put an oring in the bottom of the pack and that solved everything.

I just want this stuff gone, super low prices

um...readjusting the screw is not the answer i think

when your adjusting the screw..your temporarily breaking the connection between the board and the frame
take the whole board out of the frame...check for any metal filings that may be shorting out the board
check your wiring from your battery to the board
check the post for plastic washers between the battery and connecting terminals and see that they are in place
and if your magnet to your trigger IS too close...it will malfunction the board to where it wont turn on or it will turn it off
now just incase you want to play this weekend and dont want to send it out yet and it is the magnet that is the problem...cant back it out?
hehe...use a litte duct tape or electrical tape between the hal sensor and the trigger
it may weaken the magnetic field enough for play

eehh...if it works, i may write the book on ghetto fixing a mag

i took the board out and blew off the frame to get rid of any filings that may be there, checked the wiring from the board to battery, and check the battery terminal connections. still not working. and it cant be the trigger magnet since when it does turn on, you pull the trigger and hear the solenoid click.

the charge on my battery is fine, i talked with potatoboy a couple days ago, he said to try retapping the grounding screw. so i will hopefully try that sometime very soon.

                      crisis averted

all i did was scratch some of the anno off the top of the screw hole that holds the board in so i could make a connection to the frame
