    Velocity problems.......

I just got my ULE RT Custom and it was working fine... execpt it was a lilttle harder on paint than i thought it should be so i put the red spring(middle) spring.. turned up the velocity and bolt cocked, seems softer on paint, bolt doesnt stick... but... when i shoot, the first shot is way hot meaning it seems like its shooting twice as hard as it should be... then... when i shoot 2 or3 balls relativly fast they all seem right as far as velocity... basically the first shot seems way to high of FPS. then if i wait 2 min or so to shoot again, once again the first shot is hot HELP i dont understand why its doing that everywhere i have read its supposed to be vice versa in other words its supposed to be colder than the rest.... im confused

i had that problem on my level 7 bolt and i changed out the regulator seat. After i did that the bolt started shooting consistently again.

yeah carbon you are right i just off the phone with agd's tech support and he had me take out my reg seat and put it back in making sure i oiled it and BAM seems like it is much better now.. it kinda looked like me reg seat was kinda bent when i first looked at it but i just took it out and put it back in... as soon as i get some paintballls im gonna find out for sure but it sure as hell isnt as loud the first shot as it was....

      THANKS!!

no problem man! glad i could help, But for the maximum performance i suggest you pop in a new one.The regulator seat is one of the most abused parts in the bolt because all the air goes through it and acts somewhat as a filter. It should click back into place (it will actually make a clicking noise). When mine had that problem it would have really high velocity the first time, so i took it out and oiled it. The velocity went down but it still wasnt consistent with the other shots so i replaced the whole thing and everything was perfect!
