    minimag question

I'm new to agd guns. I'm thinking of getting a minimag. I know it comes with the a.i.r. but would a palmer regulator be a good thing to install? If so what kind of pressure should the palmer be set at? Thanks for any help in advance. Ooh yeah i'll be using CO2.

No you don't need a secondary reg. Mags already have an internal reg.

the back 1/2 of a mag is in intergrated reg. it could be removed and you could use a palmer reg but it would cost a good deal from a custom shop.and AGD regs are extremely good.

I noticed you said you'd be running CO2. In that case, I recommend a Palmers Stabilizer and an expansion chamber or antisiphon bottle. It is imperative that you keep liquid CO2 out of the valve, or you'll freeze the orings.
        My feedback is available here.

          Welcome to AO!!

I agree with Mobius, get a GOOD expansion chamber (something with at least 3 or 4 chambers (if not more!!) and then if your running it off the back of the marker get a anti-siphon tube installed on your bottle..

IF you have the coin, go to Compressed air/Nitrogen as soon as you can, easier to use (in most instances) and just plain less hassle I think..

Other then that, a minimag is a great first shot out there. Thats where I started
