losing air through gun -help !!

Help – Just bought a used RT Automag. Worked fine when I tried it out before buying it, but when I got home and tried to install the air tank, all the air would just leak out through the gun. Took off the tank tried holding in the trigger and reinstall the tank and the same results. Just about emptied the tank trying to attach it. What could be wrong with either me or the gun that I’m doing?
    Thanks

    Hi
make sure you have enough gap between the Trigger and the Searpin. I had pretty much the same problem at the last game. And i figured out that the adjustment was to close. So the Trigger was pushing the on/off pin allready in a bit.
    Maybe the Lvl X??

Don`t know what else to say

Go to the biggest carrier that does not leak. After that install the least amount of shims

Chances are, the sear is worn a bit causing the bolt to sit too far forward. If the gun has a level 7 bolt, then use a shorter powertube spacer.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Thanks for your help guy’s, the only problem I have is there is no manual and I’m not sure exactly how to make these adjustments that you refer to. I have downloaded the information that was available from the AGD web page but I can’t find this info.
