    Strange air leak and HyperFrame

Just recently I got a HyperFrame for my AutoMag classic. After getting it installed I noticed that on occasion it would start leaking after pushing the safety button or after every other pull of the trigger. I believe the leak was coming from just under the trigger frame or perhaps down the barrel. Usually I tighten the field strip screw on the HyperFrame hand tight(read to do this on another post). Anyhow, I slowly started to tighten the field strip screw with an allen wrench and the leak stopped. Anyone have any idea as to what would cause this?

you might check the o-rings on the on/off bottom, if they go bad it is sometimes very difficult to determine were the leak is.

Thanks for the suggestions! I appreciate it. I called CenterFlag last week. They are sending me out a longer on/off pin so HOPEFULLY that will take care of the problem. From reading other posts this has fixed many problems with HyperFrame owners.

After receiving the longer on-off pin I still had the same problem. Immediately called centerflag, explained the problem and they had me send my gun to them. After about 10 days I got it back and wow! It was working flawlessly. Those guys are so easy to work with and very willing to take care of any situation a customer may encounter with one of their products. Wish every company was that easy to deal with!

Nope, they did not charge a dime! The only thing I had to pay for was shipping to get it their, just a few dollars. They ended up tweaking the on/off valve, replaced the bolt, put a new bumper on and took care of a few other things for me. According to the guys their at HyerpFlag the longer on/off pin takes care of most problems for most guns. For those that it does not, you send it in and they get it running for you, no hassle.

If it still does not work properly after installing the new on/off valve just give them a ring and explain the situation. They will either recommend you try something else or send it in.
