    ans venturi bolt

i just used my automag for the first time this weekend and i loved it all except for 1 problem, ball breaks. When i was looking into getting a new bolt i was disappointed when the superbolt didn't work out, but i was wondering if the ans venturi bolt would be worth the money. it says on the ad that because it has a foamie that it is easier with balls and since it's 10 hole, it increases your accuracy a lot. so i wanted to know whether or not it would be wise to get the ans or wait for AGD to fix the superbolts.

oh, and another thing, do the superbolts have foamies? if I bought a superbolt would it be easier on paint and more accurate than an ans?

I wouldn't get an ANS bolt. How about an AGD Foamie Bolt (Extended nose)?

ANS bolts are not made to AGD specs. They are not correctly heat treated, which results in early wear and failure. The 10 holes do not release the air any softer, nor give it a special swirl effect nor do anything to increase accuracy, distance, or make Elves happy. Go with Miscue's advice and get a new longnose.

Actually, get a Superbolt. Many more players are happy with them, than what it seems right now. The problems are essentially minor and are being fixed as you read this.

Yeah I'd go with Miscue on that one. AGD Foamie Bolts are much better or if you get an RT Valve they come with a great foamiless bolt. Pardon the sales pitch but you might be interested in a cheap body for your new mag, right? Go here. Happy Shooting. Oh and to fix the ball chopping get a 12V Java Revolution they are almost twice as fast as regular revys.

                ans

the whole ans vs stock i see like this. I have a stock bolt. it eats my paint. doesnt stop to chew either...i see the balls leaving my barrel with a little streamer of paint flying out the back where the bolt has smashed it...if im lucky most of the time it only makes it halfway up the barrel(8") before coming apart in a gooey mess. now this only happens with thin shells(ie allstar, advantage etc...) but that pretty much takes care of any smallbore paint. or anything not in primo cond. or if its a little humid out...and so on. if you notice a large amount of breakage in barrel, more than say 1 in 100 ...im doin 1 in 50 if im lucky...
then get a diff bolt...cant really hurt. even if it will wear out, you'll be happier for a time. my 2 cents. no refunds. actually..think ill go post in tech. see if anyones got other ideas.

Superbolt is the best, they were out of production for a bit, but should be shipping again shortly. Click "Shop Now at the agd online store" at the top of the page, and you can buy bolts there.

                    Ans bolts are evil.

I used an ANS bolt and it was junk in MAG. I had nothin' but problems w/ bolt stick and ball breakage. Stick with AGD and you should have no worries.

Click on the show now at the agd online store link at the top of this page, you can buy a bolt from there, or just about any good pball store.
