ok i just bought a minimag, and i played with it this weekend. i was running on co2(im buying nitrogen as soon as possible) and the gun seemed to shortstroke way too much. are there any grip frames that will fix this problem, preferably one that shoots fast?

are you sure it's not user error? cause if it is, changin the frame won't stop the short strokingOrigninally posted by warbeak2099
Definately extra lube. I keep two bottles at all times. Can't leave home w/o your lubricant.

Choppin
Bone stock, mags do chop... Although more so with a standard feed classic, but still. I mean you might want to do all the nitty gritty stuff like ask yourself: are my balls out of round, do i have a good paint to barrel match, is my gun oiled, am i the one thats causing the short stroking, is there something thats not allowing the balls to feed, is my trigger rod touching the back of the trigger, did i mess with the trigger rod, blah blah blah. I just built my minimag and i was shooting it in my backyard and i would shoot strings of like 10 fairly quickly. And at least one ball would chop every string, it was pissing me off. Then i got a level 10, and ALL my problems went away. ALL of them! With the LX, i would shoot the whole hopper and not break a single one. The best part of it is you dont have to worry about short stroking. You can short stroke all day and not break a ball. I put a ult in my classic valve and you all know how easy it is to short stroke a ult on a classic..... still, even with my uncoordinated trigger finger, i have yet to chop a ball since getting the LX.Comment
