    If I got eyes....

Well if I put eyes on my rt pro, what should I do with the bolt?

GA devil recomments going to the LVII, but others say that has more kick and is too hard for super brittle paint I love to shoot. While being more maintenance free.

Perhaps I should go to the short LX spring and keep the lx bolt for the low mass?

Or go with the fully tuned LX AND eyes?

if you have eyes, just use the short spring for the lvl 10.... i would stick with the lvl 10 bolt too... lower reciprocating mass.. the actual speed of the bolt is only slower on the LX for a fraction of a second before going to full strength, so if the ball is correctly in the chamber (because your eyes prevent firing otherwise), you're not going to be that much harder on paint than lvl 7.

but like i say, lighter bolt, smoother shots, sttay with LX... you never know when you might want to run your marker with no eyes anyways...(is that possible on dev mags?)

are you compleatly converting the gun to an electro, cause how do you plan on hooking up eyes on an rt pro?

reason for switching to a lvl 7 foamie bolt it a slight faster cycle speed and less maintenence. I have yet to have problems with brittle paint using the foamie bolt.

GA devil..... i know you're the expert on your devil mag.... i dont have one, but am curious to know: Tom does say that the LX bolt has a slightly longer cycle time because the bolt is initially at only 5 psi or so.... does that small (from what i can tell-unnoticable) cycle time increase outweigh the increase in "kick" due to more reciprocating mass?...

this is a good topic to dicuss as we take our mags into the arenas of speed shooting beyond the stock e-mag....

there was a noticable difference in speeds achieved between the 2 or I wouldnt go to the trouble of switching them out and still giving the lvl 10's to the customer to do what they want with. I found it to work the best and thats what I want my customers to have.

Hey GA devil, I have a ule warp body. Do you think I should go with breakbeam eyes, which I understand you bond in the body and then of course are visible from the outside, or try a reflective eye on the bottom, Xmag style?

If I send my body to you could you do the machining/install?

id suggest break beam cause reflective has issues if you use a dark shell paint. like in halos, shockers etc...yeah i can do the milling. I have trina's warp ule mag here being done now.

I'd really like a picture of what the breakbeam eyes look like installed in a warp body.

Another disadvantage of the reflective eye, is nobody in the pits can tell you have eyes! You lose out on bragging rights.

only thing u see different is there will be a slot milled on right side of rail to let wire out and the wire going up to top next to detent.

IMO it will be a waste of money and time. Why get eyes for a gun that has LVL 10 already, and is capped at 13 bps anyway. Even capped at 20 is pointless to me. A Halo will easily keep up w/ that ROF.

its up to you though and if you want to spend the money to do it, then I guess go for it. *shrugs*

well seeing u cant put eyes on a hyperframe board I dont believe he is talking about that.

Just where exactly are you pulling this from? I have told you nothing about my marker. I assure you, it is NOT capped at 13.

Hey thought I would hop on here to ask some questions also. GA Devil, I believe you told me a capacitor is needed to be soldered onto the pred board to give it the extra punch on the hyperframe noid. (PBnation thread) Can you tell me where to solder it? If its secret PM me please. I could use the help. And I have the ULT in the mail.

Ohh as for eyes on these things, I still chop sometimes (cheap paint) with my Level 10 even on my xmag with eyes disabled, so go for it Train. Plus... have GA do it, cause I'm doing it all on my own... and I have some issues with my electronics as you can see. Cosmetic wise, I think the eyes do not look bad at all, and it looks like GA shrink tube theirs so they are not just wires exposed. Plus the eyes on the pred board are easily disabled if need be. You can force shots without disabling the eye by holding the trigger for 1/2 the length of your disable time (well its about 2 sec on mine). Thanks! Later, EBZ
