    X-Valve problems

I currently purchased the X-Valve for my minimag. This is the only possible upgrade minus other barrels that I can possibly get for this gun. The problem is the X-Valve doesnt work. I had with my old valve a level 10 kit so I am pretty knowledgeable with the carriers and stuff, but no matter what carrier I put in the gun will not shoot instead it just leaks perfusively down the barrel. Can someone please help?

have you tried replacing the power tube o-ring? also is the field strip screw in there nice and snug so that theres no movement of the valve?

I tried it with all three of the orings supplied in the kit, and none of them stops the problem. I chose to keep my old valve and when I reinstall that it works just fine. Could it be the power tube tip oring that is bad because I have to level 10 bolt assemblies thanks to the purchase of the x-valve so I have spare parts. I just want this thing to work hopefully by this sunday. I mean what good is an empire reloader B if I cant even shoot at 26 per second. Any help is appreciated

try replacing the power tube tip o-ring as well as the power tube o-ring and carrier o-ring then use the tightest carrier put it in the power tube without any shimms and gas up the gun and see if it still leaks. If the leaking has stoped work your way up with the carriers, untill you get to the bigest carrier that dosent leak. Then adjust the rest as nececarry.

because of all the leaks I no longer have any air left in my 88ci tank I have a few CO2 tanks left here from my friends from last weekends playing would that be ok just to test for leaks or do I have to wait until my local paintball shop opens up next monday to fill me tank to test the gun. My old valve has the level 10 installed and its perfect hasnt leaked yet. Should I just throw that entire assembly in the x-valve to see if it is the power tube and all its o-rings.

            Change the carrier o-ring!!!

My buddy just bought a BRAND NEW X-valve and we had the same problem. It seems AGD had a bad batch of carrier orings...they are too big! After fighting for 3 hours to make any carrier work, I took the oring out of my old level 10 kit and it worked perfect! All 3 orings in the new kit were bad!

            Try it...lmk

                  Awesome!

Glad to help...I know how you were feeling, we spent 3+ hours before even thinking of trying an o-ring from a different level 10. Good luck, and happy shooting!

BTW, anyone know to get replacement O-rings for the inside of carrier. Can't seem to find them in the AGD online store.
