    Spring pack grease?

I wiped that grease off the bottom(only the bottom, flat part) of the spring pack. Do I need to re-grease it and if so, what kind of grease is it? Thanks.

This is a question that has been asked a thousand times and there's one answer. Any grease will work. The most expensive grease in the world or the vaseline petroleum jelly in your bathroom. All the grease does is keep moisture off the spring pack to prevent rusting. Springs don't need "lube" for friction purposes.

Where does the vaseline go? Do I get a tooth pick and rub it in between the washer things? Or on the outside only?

you don't need to get into all the crevices, just along the outside is fine.
