    The AO ULT shim poll

Ok just out of curiosity, I want to know what shims everyone is running, who has a tuned ult. Respond in ULT SHIMS ONLY. As you should know, LX shims count for 2, so if you are running 3 ult shims and a LX shim, just vote 5 shims. Or post.

    rt/x valves only!

Whoa hold the phone here people...

I can only manage to get 4 shims in there before it starts leaking on me, can you really fit 8?!?

      AGD Did someone call me?

You should go to each gun manufacturers forum or call them up. Ask the OWNER of the company why his gun is better. When you get your answers come back here and tell us what they said.

You should buy my gun because I have 5000 posts that say I care.

Im running 8 on mine. I have a classic rail, AM sear, SS emag body, SS Emag valve w/ ULT. I just counted them and I have 2 LX shims, and 4 ULT shims.

Mine wouldnt shoot w/ only 2-3 shims in. Started to fire around 4, but not reliably. I just kept going up from there. It never went into full auto or double fired no matter how many I put in. If I put in 9 shims total, the valve is difficult to get into the body cause the on/off is sticking out too much. Not only that, it leaks w/ 9 for my particular setup.

My trigger is fairly light, and it stillpops back forward (reacts), just not as much compared to a Non-ULT mag. I think it may change and need more fine tuning as I break it in.

Im curious myself to see how many shims other ppl have too.

With a classic valve I think I was up to 15 shims before some other mods. Now I think its down to about 8 or 9 and I shortened the pin alsojust to remove some of those shims.
