    adjustible reg question

i have just gotten back into paintball and bought a preset 68/4500 pure energy air system. i am looking to get more reactivity out of my xvale so i need an adjustible reg. can i buy one as an add on? or switch out the preset reg on the tank i have? or should i just buy an adjustible system.

you can put an adjustable reg on that tank, like the 3000psi flatline I have for sale *hint*

Or you can buy a whole new adjustable air system.

You cannot add a reg to your current setup.

Yep what he said. An adjustable 4500psi tank system is the wayt o go.

Here are the tank selections I like when taking the RT bounc to an extreme.

I am having great reactivity with the apoc 2k, plus that company is really great, kinda like agd, they have exploded valve pictures and many guides downloadable on their site. It looks really good on the gun aswell.

Just an FYI it seems to be getting really hard to get just the regs form bottle manufactures because of the recent incidents of the valves/regs coming loose from the bottle from improper installation, so I would suggest finding a used one here as 'trains are bad' suggested, of selling you bottle and use the money to get a complete setup. If you do get just a reg please if you at all doubt your abilities or tools have it professionally installed.

Definately extra lube. I keep two bottles at all times. Can't leave home w/o your lubricant.

Air America also sells Standalone regs... The regs actually operate similar to a mag's, if I recall coreectly. They're top notch stuff, regardless.

I'd reccomend their Apocolypse reg, myself, and they have a crazy special on Apocolypse Bottle/reg setups right now.

It would be eayser to just but a adjustable tank, that way theres no paying for sending them to airsmiths and what not. Adjustables are very nice ,i would recommend the maxflo and flatline tank systems.
