    Help quick

Ok i have a new Custom ULE mag which i cant get the bolt to reset all the way. It doesnt stick in the forward positin all the way it resets almost all the way back to where it should be but is like a tiny bit befre totally resetting. All i have to do is push it slightly back and *click* it barely moves and its reset.

Heres my set up smallest carrier and no shims. From what i know this should be the best set up to break the carrier o ring in and etc. I have installed a level 10 bolt on my other mag which has the is just a level 7 valve. I dunno if its the x valve that makes it tougher to break in or what. Oh yeah i have the ULT installed as well with either 5 or 6 shims. The help with this would be greatly appreciated because im pretty stumped here on what it could be.

(I know this should go in the level 10 help thread but i posted it there and got no response and i need help quick so i can get this sorted out and play in a week)

stuff gets lost in the lvl 10 help thread... i never even read it anymore...

your problem is too loose a field strip screw.... next time your bolt doesnt reset use an allen wrench to tighten the field strip screw (the one on the back of the frame into the bottom of the valve)... when you hear the bolt click, you're in business.... the link in my sig has a more comprehensive explanattion in the "my mag is crazy" part..

edit*** oh yeah... you still want to be at the largest carrier without a leak, even while breaking in the orings... you just will ahve to go down a step or so in a fwe days of play.... also, i would suggest less ULT shims until you're sure you want more... with 6 shims you're pushing the reactivity envelope pretty far and getting your tolerances into the minute 1000ths of an inch... i'd suggest 2 or 3 ULT shims for now... maybe increase that later... but thats IMO...

k i just tried the tightening of the screw and once i tightened it down and screwed the bottle on the trigger pin didnt even set. I then lossesened the strip screw a bit and my the marker fired while doing this. i shot if for about 10-15 shots and the same problem as before the bolt wouldnt reset all the way. Seems as if in my case for some reason losenening the strip screw helps more than tighthen ing it im lost here. If your online now is there a way you can help over aim?

edit: Decided to play with the shims since they were the only variable i havent tinkered with. took out the vavle and on off and all the shims turned out i had 7 on there so i bumped down to 6. Same problems as before bolt still not restetting all the way. So i bumped to 5 and it seemed the trigger lost most of its snappyness. It felt like i was shooting my other mag (the mag in my sig). Walking the trigger was impossible (which i could do with the previous shim set ups before the bolt would stop reseting). Seems weird that 5 is supposed to be a high setting and have some run away according to some people when im barely getting above regular valve feel to the trigger if at all. Im pretty stumped here..... Could it be a problem with my valve? Im outta air and wont be able to get any around here till sunday because i work all day saturday. Anyones help would be greatly appreciated maybe some aim screen names so i can have a full bottle of air and walk through help as i go.

i said that you need to do it when your marker doesnt reset... so you'll have to create and solve teh problem while its aired up... dont put the bottle on after you've tightened the screw or you'll be shooting in the dark....

          my aim sn is: Calibre68pi

hit me up and i'll help you out.
