I once tried to put an Xvalve in my Emag. It's one of the first Emags with the serial #538 (I think, too lazy to go look), but it is under 1000. The Xvalve did not work properly in the emag so I took it out and sold it. I even tried switching the emag on/off, pin, quad oring, everything and the x valve wouldn't work in it. Later I read somewhere that the older Emags with a serial number under 1000 had different pin lenghts, so new x valves won't work, even when switching on/offs, or something to that affect. Does anyone know what I am talking about? I want to put a xvalve in my emag. I think TUNAMAN once said that he had what I needed to make a new xvalve work in my older emag. Any help would be appreciated.

When you use the old emag on-off pin in the new X-valve, be sure to use the entire on-off assembly. You have to use the large outside top o-rong from the X-valve though. The older emag valves don't use the large top o-ring.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts. -
yes , you have to keep the emag valve on/off in the xvalveOriginally posted by athomasWhen you use the old emag on-off pin in the new X-valve, be sure to use the entire on-off assembly. You need a new on/off pin. The one you want in the xvalve for use on the emag is .712
You must also use an RT on/off assembly, the one from the old emag with the stainless steel top won't work. You will of course have an assembly in the xvalve when you get it, but you might want an extra one so that when you try to use the emag valve or sell it, it's ready to go.
Of course you still need to use the black quad oring as well.

If you want to use an Xvalve in your emag, you only need to switch to a .712 on/off pin. Thats it.Comment

What is the length of my Emag's on/off pin as it sits right now? What is the length of the new x valve's on/off pin? Just curious!Comment

um, my emag has the brass on/off with quad oring and single oring. Isn't that the .712 pin?
This is the on/off i have in my emag, at least it looks just like it.
Does my emag just have that on/off with a different pin? Confused
