The main reason I would use macro is it weighs less and looks better imo. I think I will buy some good macro and fittings off tunaman and give it a shot.

        Can you replace an eye????????????

Here ya go.............Macro Eats Face http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=149372

Macro just seems so cheap and generic.
        It is

Wrong macro is made for paintball use only
        Wrong

        This is sound advise

I personally prefer macro cause I use a warp feed and I was trying to find ways to cut down on the weight of my gun.
SS is a safe route to go though. But, I have no worries using macro. if it blows, it blows, its cheap and I will just replace it.
Wow all to save a couple grams or an ounce of weight or a few dollars.[how much is an EYE worth] Hope you got gogs on when it blows. True, you can replace the line when it blows, but ask youself this....Can I replace my EYE????
For ten bucks you can get SS and be safe.[how much is YOUR eye worth??????????????]

Just get the SS from him for a few dollars more and be safe not sorry or blind, you wont notice a few grams in weight.[How much is Your eye worth????????????]

wow, talk about an overpowering personality. Whats w/ all the name calling smileiys "tard"? Its just a macro thread. DO YOU HAVE PERSONAL CONVICTIONS TOWARD PPL WHO USE MACRO? How juvenile.

I dont have to spend 10 bucks on SS hoses and fittings cause I already have it. And yes, macro is just one of the little things on a list of stuff to make my gun lighter, so yes, a few ounces is nice. Going from SS valve to x valve, karta body ULE rail, drop forward, stiffi.

And, I will more than likely be wearing goggles if the gun is anywhere near my face, and the way I have it setup if it does blow, it will blow away (not toward) my face. And besides the guy was running 1200psi in the link. My preset tank only runs at 800psi, and no problems yet.

Fittings are not fittings in the same way that hose is not hose...to this end I recently supplied TAG with a bag of fittings and hose that is rated well above the burst ratings for the fittings and hose we currently use so contact him at http://www.tagsportz.com/ ...Tom as in TOM KAYE saw these fittings and was very impressed. It is more expensive than the currently used fittings and macro but then what cost is an eye worth....6.6 million aparently (though you wouldn't get that as the negligence is down to yourself)
The fittings cannot be used with the macroline currently in use despite the fact that they look similar, the fitings in some case's need a straight adapter but then this is due to the type of regulator or asa you use......if it is a curved sided version you need the adapter if flat you don't. So as a minimum you will need one adapter for the input to a Mag. He is currently testing the fittings on a TAC One....testing is a mute point since he won't have any issues but the contact link is above so get in touch and find out how much it will be to stay safe.

Not at all true. Air Ride suspension systems use macroline fittings/tubing/etc and those run at about 150psi.

Do that with your Macroline setup and you can bleed it just like a SS hose with QD setup.

As for fittings, use the norgren fittings.

that's a great idea, i'm going to do that.

Black, I also heard you can bleed a flatline (at least my 3000) is to back out the adjustable pressure nut all the way. I haven't done this yet because I wanted to confirm (in case something ends up a projectile or something)... Would that work?

i think that might be a little dangerous because of any extra preasure behind the piston could shoot out and do some dammage

To bleed a Flatline with the setup I have in that picture, I just turn off the on/off on the FL, fire out the remaining air and then pull the QD fitting. It makes a "pop," but it's not bad.

I run Parker Synflex (3130-02) macro, rated at 1200psi -- why would you want/need more than that going into your valve anyway???
