    help with valve

ok so i just got my new tank that's a 68/30. i read my rt valve and it says rated at 3000 psi.

I aired up my gun and it didn't work. My tank preswsure is about 2700 right now and i don't understand it. i pull the trigger and it's just a pull, no click, no shot.

do i need to ajust the sear? or is it the tank?

i'll keep screwing with it until if find out what's wrong.

ooohhh, my tanks output is around 850 ish. i found the problem and got it working but it is now a blender. it shoots nice and then chop! and then when i clean it shoot, chop!

is it the bolt or the velocity or the paint? the paint is old, it's all deformed and stuff and goes, i think it's zap put i donno.

i know exactly what your problem is... seeing as i had the same one for a while.. your field strip screw is too tight causing the valve to be crooked and your bolt is catching on either the sear or the body itself... just unscrew it a lil and see if that works... fixed mine right up
                  VIVA LA TOM!!! :shooting:

that makes balls chop?.... or the marker not shoot?.... i'd think its the latter, but he's figured that one out to this point....

to alexander--- are the breaks beacuse of chops or barrel breaks?.... you can normally tell one from the other if there is paint on the bolt tip or not..... barrel breaks will leave teh first inch or 2 of the barrel clean, then there is a lot of paint downpipe..... if you have paint on the bolt and/or up into the feed neck then you can bet its chops....

barrel breaks are because you're not matching your paint to barrel ID and/or crap paint....

chops are sometimes because you have bad paint, but more often, its slow loading/ untuned LVL 10.

                    good luck
