if you have a preset tank, you might wanna put a reg on it, or leave the gas through, and get an adjustable tank, just my opinion though.

Notice he said a 450 preset.
I've never heard of anyone trying this set up, but I don't think you'll have any problems with it. Factory recommend input pressure is 500psi, with operating pressure somewhere between 200-300psi. So you should be fine.
In case you want to see the manual before you get the marker look at this:
I don't remember if they are shipping with a hard copy of it or not, but that is the complete manual.2003 SuperBowl Champions!, THE New England Patriots!

he said 450 psi, i think he meant to say 4500 psi, and from what i've been told, the crossfire presets run around 850, i may be wrong. In my opinion though, i think he should put a reg on it.

Get a Palmer Stabilizer as it will control the velocity easier...turn up the Stabe's pressure, you increase velocity slowly. I run with my bro's Timmy a lot and I keep the operating pressure at 80-85 psi. It'll chrono at 280fps no sweat. I would highly recommend the reg over a gas through...but it's your choice in the end.
As for the Drop, I also would have to go with a Drop Zone by Kapp, or a Fullsize Shocktech. Just my $.02

Well about dropforwards, just get what kind you like
. Some people like a little drop, others like a HUGE drop. Its how you like it. Although you can't go wrong with an adjustable dropforward that way you can change it to how you like. The Warped Sports dropforward is great because it comes with a short arm and a long arm that way you can adjust it anyway you want, and if you want it short you won't have a big peice of extra metal stick sticking out
. Its like the DropZone2 and the DropZoneStubby in the same package, for cheaper.

Are you running only a gas through grip?

To adjust the velocity, turn down your reg pressure. Make sure you go slow and keep an eye on yer LP guage. As for the eye, I forgot that one, sorry. My timmy should be on route by now...if you have any other questions call Delta Paintball in Concord, CA 925-685-7141 ask for Zach or Big Johnny
