when i take my tank off my gun the little pin thing doesnt seem to close all the way and air just keeps leaking out of the tank till i fiddle with the pin for a while. What should i do should i take off the reg. and oil it?

alot of tanks do that. just fiddle with the pin until it stops. dont take off the reg and dont add any oil anywhere. only a trained professional guy should take the reg off and service the tank. as long as its not leaking a ton, and it stops if you mess with the pin, you should be fine.Yummy yummy yummy, I've got fun in my tummy.

well if i take it to my pb shop should i tell them to take off the reg and oil it. Will that stop the leaking is my question

I had a Pure Energy tank that leaked all the time. I sent it to PE and they "fixed" it for free under warrantee. It still had the problem though. It got better with age as I used the tank. I have 3 PE tanks. Two of them have the leaking pin problem. I just wiggle the pin until it stops. Its a pain but it works.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment
