I just recently got an emag valve for my mech mag... When i was using it last week the valve would over pressurize after letting it sit for about 2 min and leak out the back... I checked all the orings and seals... everything looked good... What could be some of the problems that it overpressurizes like that?

on/off pin
I have a .750 pin in the valve.. Stock emag valve on/off is .712 but it bounced out of control on my mech... only other option would be tryin a .765 pin... but would this fix the problem?Comment

uplifted ape, a buddy of mine had the same problem with his emag, it would leak and leak out the back and if turned up too high would blow 800 psi right out (sounds like a jet engine) As it turns out the valve is so old (00532) that the piston in the back reg was meant for level 7, not the higher pressure level 10. He just replaced it with a new piston and runs the short level10 spring. Works like a champ.

It wouldn't.
And the reg-piston diagnosis is correct. However, I'm curious as to what level 10 settings you are using? Long spring? Carrier size?
