    on/off help... i think

ok here's the problem, i havn't used my gun in like 3 weeks cause i'm getting a new frame, and i broke a detent. so i get my new detent in (thanks killa) and want to make sure it works, so i borrow my brother intelliframe (used to be mine but i sold it to him to get the new one) and hook my system back up. i put on my tank turn on the air and SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS my bolt flys forward and won't go back... ok no biggy right? so i push it back with a squeegie and once again the bolt flys forward. so i unhook the air, change the spring on my lvl 10 and try again... this time the bolt doesn't go forward (spring is too big) but i still hear air leaking, not from the back, not from the front, seems to be comming from the on off. so i mess with the lvl 10 and the ULT a little and this is where i am, the bolt doesn't fly forward anymore (ruling out the sear as the prob) but i still hear air leaking from the on/off, and also the trigger never clicks forward (its totaly limp) so i've come to the conclusion that it must be the on/off. i put in more shims and nothing, took all the shims out and nothing, so i don't know what to do . but i figured my trusty friends at AO would know what to do, so any ideas?

First off, if you pull the trigger and hold it in, does it still leak? If so, you have an on/off problem. If not, it's not the On/Off (or most likely isn't). Next, how much air do you have in the tank?

yes it still leaks when i push and hold the trigger, and my tank was full, now its a little less than half full... but based on the first thing i must have an on/off problem... so what do i do?

If you hold down the tirgger and air leaker out the barrel, it is the on/off.

My guess is that you either have a bad oring or a missing oring. I would start there. Make sure all orings are in there, make sure there are no nicks in the orings and make sure they are clean and well oiled.

maby you had the ball detent in to far and it was causeing the bolt to stick forward and in your frantic rush to fix it you some how screwed up your nicely tuned mag. just my 2 cents and the reason I said those things is because thats what happend to me once and it was during a turny to.

What length was the new spring that you put in the marker? If it is an uncut LV10 spring you have to change the velocity until it will fire the marker then back it down slowly till your at the right speed or you need to cut the spring shorter. See if that works cuz i had that problem before.
