You prolly need to give a little more info.

    Is it an X-Valve?

Do you have the ULT or stock On/Off?

    What's your input pressure?

Are your socks on the right feet?

Those are the things that might determine your problem. Tell a little more, please.

Any "update" whether the ULT rapid fire mod is better / easier / more or less controllable / etc than the stock trigger/high pressure version of this mod? Or a comparison by somebody whos done both? I finally got a variable tank, but just thought I would ask before I start trying to break my new gun....

Might be the tanks reg isn't keeping up. For instance I have a AGD flatline 68/3k and my classic rt isn't as fast as my old AA Fred Schultz sig 114/3k nor is it as fast as the 88/4.5k Armaggeddon. Both my AA tanks smoke the Flatline even though I have them all set at 1000psi input. Before I get flamed, yes the flatline has been to AGD for service recently for service with no improvement. My point is not all regs are created equally. If it goes from 1000psi down to 600psi in a shot string it may just not be recharging fast enough to keep up.

That is a VERY insightful bit of info there by REDRT. It's one of those areas that is best experienced through personal testing as it sounds like a minor detail. It's VERY obvious.
