Max number of shims in ULT??

Hey whats up!? I just got my ULT and installation was a breeze. I currently have a 68ci 4500 maxflo, xvalve, and ULT. I put in 4 ULT shims and 1 Lvl10. Which totals to 6 ULT shims. Is this the max that it can hold?? If i try to add another ULT shim I cant get the on/off to align with the valve (wont slide in body of the gun). The gun shoots great but is the max point of shims when you cant even align the on/off to the body anymore??

The max number of shims you can put on the ULT before you start backing the top onto the threads is six. You don't want to have the top piece start threading onto the bottom, so don't put in anymore than six shims.

just wondering what happens if there are more than 6shims in the ULT?? From reading the ULT survey there are people that have 7+shims in there and they say its fine. Is there a downside to this?
