This may be an ingnorant questino but I'm an ignorant guy so it werks out. Doe sthe type of sear you use depend on the rail it is set in or the valve it is used with? The practical application of this question is I have a AM/MM rail and I am putting a ReTro valve into the set up. The gun originally had a classic valve, am I mistaken in thinking that the sear doesn't need to be changed? All help is appreciated.

Your absolutely right.
AM/MM rail -> AM/MM sear
RTP rail -> RTP sear
regardless of valve -

Karta Rail
I have a question about the sear pin. On the karta rail the hole isn't big enough for the stock sear pin i have and it didn't come with anything to replace it. What am i supposed to do about that?Set-Up:
Blue X-Valve
Unfinished Karta Mainbody

The stock sear pin is too fat for the hole in the karta rail. The hole looks like it's half the size of the pin. If i were to get a pin that would fit into the hole, the pin would be to small for it's hole in the sear. That's why i'm wondering what i should do. Would the smaller sear pin disturb my trigger pull?Set-Up:

The sear pin is a 3/16" hardened metal dowell!!! You can get them in diferrent lengths, I think the stock is 3/4"(0.750) long, try a 1/2"(0.500)!! They are available at most machining and metal/ industrial supply places!!!! If the diameter is diferrent, you might have a defective rail, Call the DW guys, they'll take care of you!!!E-Mag's on a diet
Stay tuned for Pics!!!

guys i think he is trying to get a AM/MM sear to fit into his karta rail which is basically a milled rtpro rail. so there for he needs the rt sear, it should fit fine, don't sand or drill anything

Thats the wrong sear and pin for the Karta. You need an RT Pro sear and pin.
