    pull trigger but doesn't fire

so i went to the field last night and it was about the fourth time i've used my mag and i haven't had any problems so far. but last night in about the third game i played the the sear would have resistance and i would pull it but the gun would not fire. sometimes the sear would get stuck in the back position. degassing it and gassing it up again didn't work, and then i took out the x valve and the plate at the bottom to see if theres crap there or something. looked fine. i have read here on AO that after a couple of uses an o-ring gets broken in and have to change the carrier. is this what i have to do?

    thx alot

    sounds like bold stick

drop a carrier size and see if that helps it to reset....i just put a new oring in last night it was so new i had to start with a 3ring to break it in (direct from agd 1 dollar :) )

if that doesnt help u out make sure ur on off is nice and greasey along with teh rest of the gun.....mags love oil adn high input pressures...

also check that you are not over tightening either the body screw of teh fs screw...this can cause problems also....a good way to get them to teh correct "tightness" is to hand tighten then ptu the alan wrench in and tap the end of it till it stops moving...this usually results in it not being over tightend

check where u valve regulator is preset to and also check which spring u are susing

    hope this helps a little....

as for breakign in the oring....if u just bought it agd usually ships them off with a lower carrier size to compensate for the oring needign to be broken in

my buddy jsut bought a tac-one and they sent it with a 1ring carrier...we dropped it to a 2.0 fired it about 4-5 tnaks through it till it started barrel leakign and dropped it to a 1.5 its workgin like a dream...

also for oilign ur gun there are load of threads in here that will help what i usually do is:
4 drop s in the asa, 1 drop to lube up the on/off, and non in the power tube...putting oil on this oring give you false friction that you will not normally have in game play and could be why ur bolt is stickign etc....plus if u are firign oil throughteh gun it will se some of those drops on the wawy out :)
I LOVE MAGS :hail: ...and hate low pressure output tanks....and :shooting: spyders
