Mag getting stuck - please help

    Hi,
I have a 68 classic that is getting stuck after a couple shots. I can take 3 or 4 shots and then something is getting stuck inside the gun and it locks up. The trigger is frozen and so is the bolt. I have to take it apart and then reset all the parts. Before I take it to the shop I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. Are there any seals or rings that often get jammed in these guns. I just bought it 2 weeks ago and don't have any experience fixing them.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Also does anyone have an online link to a manual of the gun?

I think i might have experienced this before...try screwing the feild strip screw in the back not so tight. I had mine tight and i could get about 4 shots before it would get stuck. I got it home fixing to take it apart and unscrew the back alittle and the trigger pin came forward and now it works. Try this before taking it. If this is not what it is, best of luck.

check ur on off and make sure its nice and lubed

dont over tighten the fs screw

      velocity check/spring check
