    Multi marker problem

Okay, I owne an Impulse, a cocker, and a mag. I have not used them any in about three months (it got cold). I know for a fact, that all three were in perfect working order when I last used them. All shot at about 280-290 fps and had no known problems.

Today was nice, about 50 degrees. I decided to go out and shoot a little, just for fun. Well, first the cocker, it wouldn't shoot over what I'm going to guess was around 150 fps. It would drop to the ground in about thirty feet. I tried another tank (both HP tanks with over 1500 psi). So I fired up the Impulse, it wouldn't even shoot a ball out of the barrel. I turned the LPR all the way up , still no fire.

The good news: As usual, I put air on the Mag and it worked flawlessly.

The bad news: What's up, can the other markers just need lubrication or something. Can the 50 degrees make a difference with compressed air. The is no chance that anyone else ever messed with the markers since I cleaned and put them all away back in October.

Anybody ever have a similar experience.

Yo need to oil the markers up every 2 months when there are not in use. Give them some oil and leave them in the house. The see if they fire in room tempature.

drop a drop of oil in the 3 way, and shoot it through the gun for the cocker

take a allen key and unscrew the hammer cap. lube up the shaft, and it should be fine, prolly just gunked up

        Have fun oiling that impulse

        Glickman is right.

When I had my pulse it had velocity problems (although they werent as bad I guess, I could get a ball out the barrel at around 150 fps) and they were fixed by completely relubing and cleaning the gun. Its a pain, but you might want to try it.

The cocker's timing might also have slipped.. might want to check that.

          Hmmm

I keep my markers in the garage, they are in a nice foam lined box, but the room isn't conditioned. Do you think the extreme temperatures could have an ill effect on them.

The cocker is a CCM SV, its always been fussy so I'm not really surprised about that one, it seems I need to lube it and chrono it before every day of play (typical cocker), but the imp has never been any trouble. I should check the battery tonite. I always forget that, I bet that is the only problem.
