Yeah...I'm having some difficulties figuring out exactly what I have here... Some pics. I have a level 7 manual from SOMEWHERE, but the indents on the top aren't like a Level 7 at all? Sorry for fuzziness, I have a $300 camera, but it sucks at close range...Serial # is 7549 (I believe...May be 7459)
Name that A.I.R!

if you mean the indents on the power tube tip. Those are so that you can unscrew the powertube tip off with a quarter or something like that so that it makes it easier to do at a field where you might not have a screwdriver or like on L10 pt tips a wrench. It looks like a normal L7 classic valve too me

Ive never seen a level 5, but yours looks just like my old level 7. My whole valve was different though because it had no serial numbers or writing on it. It was all chrome.Comment

see how the background is in focus on your last picture there, but the valve is a blurry mess?.... you'd be well of to use the flash on your camera for more light (i imagine you already are) adn point teh camera at your subject... then hold the shutter release button down only half way while pointed at the valve... make sure its on target in the center of the image... teh camera should use that half-pressed shutter button as a signal to focus on the valve... then once you can tell you've achieved focus, press the button all the way and you should have yourself a decent picture....
even 300 will buy you a camera capable of that in this day and age...

I have no input on the valve.....can't see it......but does your camera have macro mode? Use that to take close up pics......Comment
