    Valves??

I was wondering what the best valve for an automag is? I know a retro is great but i'm thinking something more affordable.
I have a diamond labs hurricane valve but i also have the stick valve sitting in a bag just incase... what should i use?

The best Valves to use, is either a 100% stock AGD valve, or a ReTro Valve.

The aftermarket parts usually end up doing absolutly nothing for your 'mag except cause problems due to poor construction and their tendancy to be lapse in specific specs.

      Stock...

I would use the stock one but if the hurricane valve is giving you no problems, you *could* use it. If your gun starts to mess up, I would put the stock one right back in. Just my $.02.

Well the hurricane valve is just a reg body. Its not going to do anything for you at all. performance wise anyway. Where as the retro valve is all different inards. The only reason I can see changing the reg body is if your really concerned with weight. you can find em constructed of lighter materials. But this is kind of rare most you see are stainless. And in that case they offer nothing over the stock part.
