    stupid question

i built my first mag and i havent had the chance to put macro line on it so i cant shoot it yet but im not sure if i put it together right. Cause when i pull back the trigger the sear doesnt move back it just goes up the trigger. Could u guys tell me if that is normal thanks

    maybe?

im not really sure it might be that your sear is sticking on the joint and can only move the lower joint? or that the vavle has the have air before it can move with mine it just goes back and stays there i would just suggest trying it and seeing what happens. then if there is a problem post it not trying to be a dick or anything.

      Hmmm

If the sear doesn't move, be certain that it is in the proper position before you air it up. If it's not in the proper position you may end up bending the sear when you air it up, or when you pull the trigger; I 've done that before. The trigger should be loose when not aired up and the sear should move into the frame and stay there when no air is applied. If you can provide pictures, that would help...
      I went like this :shooting:

there is no such thing as stupid questions...only stupid people...or mal-informed or non informed people

uhm...thats all i had to add, just needed to...lol every time i saw the post heading it was just asking for it :)

try checking ur bolt spring...and fs screw

wait....is it an r/t sear or an am/mm sear cause u might want to check that u have one of those handy dandy sear pins in there if u have the am/mm and a screw if u have the r/t

see if you sear is in the right position or see if it is stuck somehow.
Or if i remember on my old mag that if you put the sear rod in the trigger wrong i think it did that.

I think that you should put macro line and all that and then gas it up first. Im pretty sure it should work though. The sear moves when there is not gas on it.
