? on Quad O-ring on X-valve

Ok, I broke down and bought myself a X-valve to replace the RT-valve on my E-mag.

Now, I am aware that I am keeping my on/off assy. The question that I couldn't find a quick answer to during my not-so exhaustive search is this: Do you keep the quad o-ring and stick it in the gun in place of the inner urethane o-ring?

Or is the quad o-ring a thing of the past?

The quad oring is still required on all emags and xmags.
