If im running a minimag with a lvl 10, intelliframe, eVolution hopper, and a 68 ci, 4500psi preset airtank, and i use an x-valve, would i get the effect of the x-valve? im thinking about buying one of those x-vavles but im not gonna bother if it wont work unless i have an adjustable tank and a reg.

If by "the effect of the xvalve" you mean mad trigger bounce, then probably not. You'll have a reactive trigger, which is a super nice feeling, but it's not obscene like the tippmann RTs are. It'll give you a crisp trigger pull and a sharp trigger return. -
