Xmag only shoots Mech & Hybrid.....

    Hello,
My Xmag stopped working in electric mode. I hade to finish up matches in mech and Hybrid. I had it tuned perfectly, but now electric mode is f&*^% up. Anyone eperience this? I am adjusting it now...hopefully it was just the magnets. John

i believe it is the ace...

I had the same problem...the Ace eye just needs adjusting. It is not reading the paint, so it wont fire. But in mech/hybrid, you ace isnt used. Just adjust the small screw for the eye, on the side.

What is jacked up about it? Is it not triggering the solenoid?

What I done to determine where it would trigger it, would be to turn on the electronics, go thru the menu till you get to the TRIGGER OFF option, then slowly pull the trigger to see when it changes to TRIGGER ON. If it doesn't, adjust your HES. Remember, if you adjust the trigger magnet too close, your board wont 'boot' or be able to scroll through the menu.

Im sure there are more suggestions and possible resolutions out there, just my 2 cents.

Hey Web, The trigger does register to On at my desired pull. But the solenoid does not fire. Gun works fine in Hybrid and Mech. Thanks for the input.

Check your connections, especially the ground connection where the board screws to the frame. A bad electrical connection can cause the solenoid to drag down the voltage to the point that there is not enough energy to actuate the solenoid and fire the gun.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
