    valve leak-need help quick

    I am in high elevation and the back of my valve is leaking, any suggestions or help please asap. I have a xmag with x valve. gun works in las vegas and now does not work in higher elevation.

    weird...

    generaly leaking out the back is an indicator your velocity is too high

    try turning it down until the leak stops

      found a tank that wouldnt leak and it was shooting 370 turned out velocity to all the way to the oring 360 put long spring in lvl 10 that brought it down to 300 but the lvl 10 was starved. im back in vegas so im going to try it down i have a feeling that the lower pressure air caused my tank reg to creep up cause it was a preset and then xvalves reg to creep as well. the problem is still there in vegas what is going on!!

          The pressure differences between elevations is only a few psi, not really enough to affect a regulator output on a paintball gun.

          Try replacing the regulator seat o-ring. Also, check your regulator valve piston assembly.
          Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
