    Which is better to do?

Should I buy a Pro-Connect and when I take the air of my mag, dry shoot the remaining air out, or should I buy a quick disconnect and disconnect the hose after I take my air off and let the air go out that way? Which one is best? Thanks

there shouldn't be any air in your gun after releasing the pro connect. it's all really personall preference. the proconnect is more convenient to me. if you get a break in the game or something and you want to de-gas your gun, the pro connect is the way to go. saves you the time of unscrewing and screwing in your tank.

          Question

What do you mean there shouldn't be any gas in my gun? There is a regulator in Mags so there will be gas in my gun. Does pro connect solve that. What all and exactly does a Pro Connect do?

            the regulator vents

When you disconnect the gas the mag AIR regulator vents. The pro-connect only has a one way valve on the input side attached to the tank and the hose.

A pro connect is a quick disconnect/check valve combo system. When you pop the pro-connect off your gun it stops the air from your tank and disconnects the hose to your gun at the same time.

As far as quick disconnects go, it is just a quick way to seperate your hose from your gun. If you pop the quick disconnect while the gun is pressurized you will end up venting your tank.

                Two Final Questions

So I can disconnect a Pro Connect even when my tank is on my gun?

                and

Mags don't keep air in them after you take the tank off?

Yep absolutely. Pro connects can be disconnected with the tank on.

Sometimes if the o-rings are new they are so tight that the regulator will hold some residual air. But this is VERY RARE. Its supposed to vent.
