    RT valve with ULT

    I just purchased this:
    ReTro valve
    ULE body
    ULE trigger
    Hyperframe
    lvl 10

And I have some quirks about it. The hyperframe only gets about 3k shots off a fresh 9volt and is hard to coax back on if turned off recently (I'm thinking the capacitor is damaged or something). The first shot and sometimes the second just click. This even happens from the time the game starts to the time that I get to the bunker, I'm missing shots because of this and I can't have that. I understand that some modifying was done to the valve for the ULT to work in it. What, EXACTLY, was done and how does it affect the operation and resale value of the valve? Will it still function as a RT if the hyperframe were replaced with a mechanical trigger?

Also, I recall seeing some hard lines that went from the valve to the ASA; are these still available? Where and how much? What's the weight difference between the ReTro valve and the X-valve?

    Thanks,

BradAGD can mill your valve to accept ULT. He is certified AGD tech and moderator here on AO.

If you want to run hardline to your valve, you should read Doc's post.
The biggest problem is that you won't be able to pull out the valve.

First of all, the valve already has the ULT. Secondly, your link doesn't work. And lastly I will make my own hard line system that allows the valve to be removed. Thanks though.

This place is hard to get help from if you don't post the same, redundant questions as a guy half a page below.

Hyperframe issues are common. There are always tons of questions in this forum and many mysteries about hyperframe problems go unsovled. They are a little unpredictable.

As far as the milling into a retro vavle goes, I'm pretty sure they drill out a space slightly deeper into the whole where the on/off assembly goes. It's due to the quad o-ring not being used in X-Valves.
