Will it fire if the ACE doesn't see a balll? Where do you turn the electronics on and off? I know it's a really silly question, but I just can't find it. Like in hybrid mode you have to turn them on, but where is that at. I looked at the manual and it doesn't point it out. Sorry for all of the noobie questions, just want to know everything about the XMag. Thanks.

The setting is done through the gripframe controls.

ACE is your eye setting.
0 = Off
1 = On
2 = On w/ a small delay to see dark/double shelled paint

If your ace is turned on and tuned (use the Xmag manual for this) it will NOT fire if no ball is present. That's the idea behind ACE.
