I just bought a 4500psi flatline and noticed a small rattle inside the reg. I haven't gassed it up yet. Is this something that I should be concerned about?

Its the safety blow off check valve. The flatline is the only regulator made that if you snap it off at the tank threads, it wont go ballistic and kill someone. Tom designed it like this and like all the stuff he designs safety is of the utmost priority. Gotta love this regulator.

No you don't. Mine won't keep up with the emag at all and even with the pressure cranked it doesn't get the RT humming like the Armageddon. I though the little 68/3k might need help so I sent it in to AGD. It still sucks for anything I currently have.Originally posted by TunamanIts the safety blow off check valve. Not to worry dude, I'm the only one that I know of that ever had a problem like mine with one. If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

Do you still have the tank? Lets fix it. There is something wrong. They most DEFINETLY will keep up with any marker out there.Originally posted by REDRTNo you don't. What could you do different over the service at AGD? I feel a 68/3k is almost useless on RT marker just because of the lack of shots obtained with such a small volume tank. I figured on buying a minimag and use this tank. It should do a minimag just fine.Originally posted by TunamanDo you still have the tank? Lets fix it. There is something wrong. I have plenty of new flatlines left...Originally posted by jewie27I'm kinda sad that AGD has quit making Flatlines. I love mine. Are they planning on making a newer more improved air system???? They had so many great ideas. That's what made Flatlines so great. Easy on/off and very safe.

You should set it to about 200 psi more than the pressure coming out of the inline regulator.
Example: if you want your gun's final operating pressure to be 400 psi, then set your Flatline regulator to 600psi.
