SS hose stuck on xvalve

MY SS Hose won't come loose from my x-valve.. I know you can use heat to get rid of loctite, but I'm afraid I'm going to damage my valve if I use a lighter or something.

I'm tryign to torque it off, but I think they used red loctite at AGD.

It bit my valve and won't let go! I've got a big *** pipe wrench handy. I would try using a vice, but I don't have one, and even if I had one, I'm afraid I'mgoing to hurt the valve. I dont even want to get a scratch on it, so no piece of metal will be touching it.

EDIT: Wow, literally seconds after posting, I tried getting at a different angle with the wrench.. And it worked! Guess the angle changed my distance from teh fulcrum or somethign like that that I have no clue what it means.
