Hey just quickly... I want to throw some quick disconnects onto my mag to help in feild stripping. What do I have to do to install them and is to much of a hassle ofr whats its worth. Thanx alot guys lates!

You just wrap some teflon tape, or put some loctite 545 on the threads, and screw them in. Thats it, no big thing.

well you shuold have a SS hose...
And one side of the QD goes on each side of the hose, and the other side of teh QD goes onto the valve, and the other goes onto yourtank (or your duckbill if you havea screw in)Comment

The hard part about your question is that everybody has a different idea of what works best and there are a lot of different configurations for hardware. I would probably have the quick disconnect up near the valve then tied down to the bottomline. You might need to pick up some 90* elbows to make it happen the way you like.the JoKeR

heres my setup, i've got 2 90degree elbows, 1 on the valve and one on my tank.

What most people do, is have a 90 degree adapter comming out of there valve, and have the male end of the disconnect in that, then the female on the hose. You can use another on that tank end too if you want, which will make it easy to get the hose if if you need to for some reason.Comment

Teflon Tape and AGD Quick Disconnects.
I tend to use Teflon Tape, works fine for me... might I suggest if you are picking up some Quick Disconnects, you look into getting some AGD made ones, Ive got one set of AGD Male/Female QDs and a aftermarket pair, the AGD ones seem MUCH higher quality and really well built, plus thers the story of how AGD's Q/Ds saved the day at a tourny tank fill station, which pursuaded me to use the AGD Q/Ds

remember that is only the female end of the quick disconnect, you will also have to get the male end. And also the quick disconnect doesn't stop airflow so you will have to shot off air by unscrewing your tank or using an on/off[email protected]
