    Barrel question

I'm considering making a semi-pistol type automag. I can remove the feedneck and put a stockfeed on no problem, but I'm having problems coming up with a barrel for it. I'm considering getting a mag-to-cocker adaptor and just using that, but that costs money and I doubt they're bored well. My other option is that I have a few spare barrels. If I hacksawed, rehoned, etc a barrel down to only the threads and put it in, would I be able to remove it? I'm thinking that if I took it apart completely, the barrel would pop out easily, but please help me verify this before I screw it over... Thanks .

Oh, and while i'm here, about how many usbale shots would I get from a 12oz?

    12 oz uhm....500~ ? very rough guess

you can cut a barrel as short as you want and stil find a way to get it out.(taking frame apr might be hassle)

whynot juts use like one of the minimag 7" barrels or soemthing? how short do you want it?
