Can't turn down the velocity of Xvalve???

My micromag's velocity will not go down. I estimate the thing is shooting near 350-375 right now. The only thing that has changed is the addition of a dynaflow reg/bottle. The input gauge says 850-900 max, and when I adjust the velocity by turning the reg in the back of the Xvalve the gun just chuffs and won't fully cycle.
I need some quick help here because there is a local AO Day tomarrow and I HAVE to play.

i was just watching the video that came with my mag. its for a classic mag, so i dunno if it applys to your x-valve.
it said that the back half of the valve is responsable for velocity issues. if i remember correctly, for the problem you have; you have to clean the thing that is behind the velocity changing screw. that thing that is inside of the valve. you have to clean it, then grease it, not lube it.

    i hope this helps

Try going down to a shorter spring in the level ten, that would be my first guess.

yeah what the last guy said. you need to use a shorter spring (ie the stock one) if your using the red one. same thing happened to me... i was 365, 371, 368 on the chrony. use the shortest spring in the kit or your old stock one.

i wouldn't do anything until you actually put paint over a chrono. sometimes it's hard to estimate fps with just air...you could be way off.

Yea, like Eatem Alive said, I would chrono first before I do anything.
