Problems with x valve

Hey i just got my new x valve in today and i set it up, but i when i gas it up and ill pull trigger nothing happens. Do i have to raise the velocity or is my on/off pin messed up. Also why doesnt the valve fit flush with the my minimag body?

Try to loosen the rear quick nut under the body, too tight and it holds it up.

Make sure you are getting enough pressure, also make sure both screws are tightened approx. the same amount.
