    Mask modifications

I was wondering if it's tournament legal to take off the ear pieces of my flex7 mask, because it's very uncomfortable for some reason and the sides of the mouth piece sticks out and looks very very awkward as well

    not to mention the unawkwardness
    is it allowed?
...and then i'm like, "Whoo, PARTY!!"

Under PSP rules any mask altered from its manufactured state is illegal. That being said I have seen a lot of people get away with altered masks. Personally I would not alter my most important piece of safety equipment.

You shouldn't alter the mask from its original design. Also, any mask must provide ear protection. So, you wouldn't be allowed to take the ear protection off anyway.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

i didn't mean to sound stupid haha, i was planning to remove those ear pieces (hard ones) and wear touques or something over my ears, but then i realized it's too dangerous, and realized i can go buy some soft ear pieces

                  thanks haha

dont the wipper snappers have face protection? i thought they did.

i asked one of the guys i saw with just the lense if it hurts getting shot in the mouth. he said he had never been hit in the face.
how does someone never get shot in the face?
he didn't look like a noob either.
