For a long time now, ive wanted a mag. What kept me from getting one was just the lack of speed; i need something fast. So, i have come up with a grand plan... *evil laugh*
I currently own:
Upped LED Matrix
Upped Piranha Evo
I can sell the trix for around $500 and the evo for around $275. Thats $775 i now have.
I buy:
RPG Paradigm with ULE: $470
I am now left with $305.
Next:
Spyder ESP frame: $100. I pay (give or take) $40 to get it milled out so it will fit the mag.
I am now left with $165.
Now, i buy:
T-Board: $55
50g T-Switch:10
Thrasher trigger: $25
That leaves me with $75.
Now, heres where it gets tricky, as well as optional:
Breakbeam eyes: $11
Body milling for eyes: $50 (give or take)
Eye covers: No idea... $20?
Now i have spent a grand total of $6 on the whole project. Everything has literally paid for itself. Of course, some of the prices i have posted for selling my guns and such can fluctuate, but it wont be much.
Now, on to one more completely unessential item:
T-Board ramping chip:$20
Just so you know, i am against ramping in games. It would be used solely for showoff purposes only.
Lets go back to eyes. What if i cant put eyes on the mag? Thats $81 that i now have to spend. Subtract the $6 that i was originally in debt for, and it becomes $75. Add in the ramping chip, and it becomes $55. I currently have a Ricochet Apache, which wont be fast enough for the ramping chip. So, ill sell the Apache for around $50. I now have $105. I use that to buy a $110 Halo.
So, in conclusion, i now have:
RPG Paradigm with T-boarded, ramping chipped, 50g switched, Thrasher triggered ESP frame. I am $5 off from where i started.
Then, if it turns out that eyes will work, then i would have:
Same gun with breakbeams.
Still have the Apache.
I am $26 off from where i started.
So, hows it sound to you?
EDIT: Dont forget that i can get a bunch of this stuff used, which would take a large chunk out of expenses.
