    Predator Morlock + Warp

I'm trying to hook up my warp to my Pred. morlock board. There's no warp port obviously so I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this. The morlock has an accessory output which by default gives off 18v so I was going to make a standard warp interface cable & put a 5v reg in-between. Anybody know if that would work? I would hook up the warp motor directly to the morlock but unlike the regular morlock the Predator morolck only has options for 5ms & 10ms output times on the accessory port (solenoid2 port). Anyone have any ideas / opinions?

    There are three settings from the Predator/Morlock 1 = no lag, 2 = 5ms, 3 = 10ms
It doesn't give out 18v you only have 9v to begin with.

You can still add the resitor to drop the voltage further but then look at the input voltage required by the Warp to decide how far to drop it.

I have the input at 18v as it's hooked up to the emag battery :) What I'm trying to do is not power the warp from the Predator board but to make it work like a standard emag board would with the warp cable in that it sends a pulse telling the warp to spin when you fire.

Ok that makes more sense, I did wonder why the thread was here...see you have to include all the information so you can get the correct answer

Again you will have to find the voltage that the Warp needs. I have looked at my instructions for the Warpfeed and can't find it listed.

        http://www.robagd.com/revy-hack/ This may help.

If you have any other questions then email/pm Robagd and he should have the answers.

You could run the output to a relay and put you warp on the setting for interfacing to a switch.

I also run a predator morlock.
unlike the regular morlock the Predator morolck only has options for 5ms & 10ms output times on the accessory port (solenoid2 port).
From what I understand this is NOT TRUE. Yes that is what the manual says, but TAG, in case you haven't noticed this yet, have some of the worse manuals I have ever seen. I was talking to one of them tuesday regarding the fact that my intellifeed was not working on my new board (I had to send the board back), and they told me to set register 11 to 5. I said there is only three settings in the manual and he said that was all wrong and a misprint, and not in ms which I knew just from observation that the units were wrong at the least.

A similar thing happened with one of the older boards with different code, you had to go to register 14 to turn AFA on, and there isn't even a register 14 in the manual! I also had to call to find out how to turn the eyes off in software, because that wasn't in the book either. I swear tag would cut their phone calls in half if they provided decent literature with thier products.

The only thing you can do is call them for details.
