    chronoing a mag

how do i chrono my mag?

i'v been hearing about the valve leaking when you turn the velocity up too high. i dont understand why that happens if you turn the screw clockwise; shouldn't that stop it from leaking?
do i have to hold down the trigger between shots as i adjust the velocity?

    thanks

it starts to leak if the pressure is up to high. It should be fine just to turn it up to raise the velocity.

I just want this stuff gone, super low prices

I do not know of the mag leaking down the barrel when changing velocity. When the velocity is set to high, there is a relief valve that vents gas out the back of the valve to lower the internal pressure and keep the velocity down.
When you turn the adjustment in the back of the valve, you are not tightening a seal rather you are adjusting the tension on the regulator spring that controls the input pressure to the dump chamber.
You are directed to hold the trigger in the rear most position between shots if you own an RT variant to help make sure that there is a fast recharge of the dump chamber between shots to aid in heating the air to simulate rapid fire. As air enters the dump chamber, the pressure in there goes up, as pressure goes up the air heats up, and hot air expands, so the pressure goes up because. If you chrono your x valve without doing this, your velocity will be higher when go shoot a long, fast string of paint on the field.

Note: dump chamber may not be the actual technical term
