i read somewhere u can use co2 with the x valve, and the forum about co2 in x valves didnt answer anything, what WOULD happen if i were to screw in my 20 oz on my tac one ? ive got an expansion chamber on it if that would help ?

Save yourself a headache and don't do it. Buy a cheap nitro tank, they cost $80 new and are good for quite a while. NO CO2 in any form of the RT Valve (read anything but Sydarm, Classic, or Minimag valve).

    (It's a work in progress)

You would run the risk of jacking up your internal o-rings and it wouldnt shoot...at all

It may, some of the internals may break but it WONT WORK. You can screw the co2 on there but it will not fire, its like trying to run a car on ketsup, it wont work
Hydroing isnt that expesive, the guy around me does it for $20

i live on abeach so i can rehydro at any of a dozen dive shops around me. I dont know where in maine you are but if not on the coast a good place besides a pb store to ask is at a fire dept ( they hydro their breathing tanks too, or can tell you where to go). It shouldnt cost much then
