    Old Vents goggles, need replacement

No, not trying to use my old Vents goggles (the foam rotted away).

What do you guys recomend as a replacement? Need thermal goggles, with good protection (Vents had decent neoprene neck, throat, cheek and ear protection). Lightweight is good (the Vents was very light weight).

Not too pricey either, but if the mask is worth, i could be enticed to part with the $$

I have 2 pairs of Vents Rage sitting here. They are by far the best goggles ever made. Light, comfy, good protection. It;s no wonder Scotts bought them out and shut them down.

I was sad the day I finally retired them.

I ended up buying a Scotts Big shot, or something like that I dont even remember. Now I have a Proto Switch, which I like very much. THe lens is easliy removable for cleaning, which on others masks is a real pain. I think it was about $60.

Yeah someone else who still has their Vents

If you don't want to crazy glue some foam onto your Vents, I suggest the JT Flex 7. There are probably other goggles with more "Bling" but I still find the JT's better even if they cost a bit...

I have three pairs of Vents Predators. I actually bring them out if I have to play in the rain. they are better than any other goggle in the rain.

My choice for competition is my V-force Profiler. I had the V-force Morph as well. I really like the feel of the V-force goggles and highly recommend the Profiler for its range of vision. I've never had a fog problem either. They aren't as good in the rain as the Vents though. :)

None of the newer goggles do as well in the rain. They are well ventilated to prevent fogging. This causes a problem of allowing rain water to seep down from the top of the mask and get onto the inside of the lens where you can't wipe it off. Most of the newer goggles won't fog though, due to the ventilation, which is nice.
