    Really slow recharge

So i took apart my reg piston assy on my classic 68 valve. Put the gun back together, leaked out the back. Flipped the rubber disc inside the reg piston assy, that stopped the leak. Now, though, the sear takes about a second to reset after each shot. Help? Thanks.

Well make sure the rubber disk snaps in if it doesn't flip around intill it gets a hold also take your thumb and take one clean swipe at it to take off any dirt. Sometimes it leakes out the back because your veloicty is to high so you might have to turn it down.

As i said, i already fixed the leak out the back - that was because the rubber disk was upside down and wasn't sealing. Now I have a separate problem, which is the slow recharge.

snaps in? As in i'm supposed to apply some pressure to put it in? Is that still about the leaking problem? I fixed that already, however, can a rubber disc that isn't in all the way cause the slow recharge i'm having, without causing a leak?

I'd suggest just replacing the reg seat altogether. if it was in backwards it might not seal well now.

guys, NOTHING WAS EVER WRONG WITH THE REG SEAT. it was in correctly always, every time. The thing that was in the wrong way was the rubber disc in the reg piston.

i do plan, however, to replace the reg seat, simply because i've taken the halves apart so many times. I doubt it will make any difference. I'm testing out my lp spring pack in my only tank right now so i can't use my mag.
